NEW IN TORREVIEJA AND LOOKING FOR FRIENDS / CLUBS

Hi All,

Arrived in Torrevieja about 3 weeks ago, sailed in rather, after 2,000 sea miles but it does seem to be worth it. Great weather, sea and food. So now I've finally managed to scrape all the salt from my body, I thought I post this to see where all the 30,000 plus Expats all are exactly and what you are all up to lol.

I'm into many things, so if there are any hobby/activity clubs around too, that would be useful. I play guitar, keep fit, jog, cycle, the usual things and oh yes drink a little too, but definitely no sailing till next year. So it would be pleasing to see what's going on around Torrevieja and surrounding areas, and to hear from anyone who who would like a friend to make up the numbers, do something with, start something with or just sit for a while and enjoy an iced drink whilst watching sunset, whilst pointing to a small yacht bouncing on the sea and exclaim, "What crazy person would do that !"

Have you not heard any News there's a Pandemic happening in the world and it's no time for parties . Sensible people want to live longer , hence their not socialising . Spain has the highest count of Covid infections .

Very harsh response-at no point did the original poster mention parties-he is clearly just looking to make a few friends which even with strict covid regulations is allowed.

Good luck David with making new friends and please don’t let this put you off the area-whilst we are all conscious of covid and the implications of socialising this can be done safely.
