Hi,

If your place has shutters then close them and leave the windows open. This allows security and an airflow. Also, use a hair dryer to dry the damp, and paint with anti condensation paint. This will fix the damp.

Good luck

Nick

Hello and thank you for reply! Yes I agree with you. However I'm looking an answer who should pay for the ventilation system as from the bathroom the steam is going about the sailing  NOT on the roof or NOT outside   everything is ,, boiling ,, in this place  as the admi is traction didn't make the project right.

Are such problems the responsibility of the administration and where would it stop if they were?

You bought the place without proper due diligence. That's on you, I'm afraid.

There is no recourse unless the building as it is now is somehow illegal (against health code _at the time of construction_) or is not according to the approved and submitted project plan. In that case, you may be able to sue the developer. Good luck with that.

You might have a case against the seller but only if you could prove that they deliberately concealed the problem to mislead buyers.

As mentioned, if safe to do so, leave windows open, shutters down, but this is a temporary solution really and not ideal.

If there are no air bricks fitted I would suggest getting a couple done.

Can an external extractor fan be fitted in the bathroom to remove steam?

Lastly, some mould can be cleaned off paintwork with a solution of bleach and water. Google is your friend....

Thank you!

The problem is  there is a tiny fan in a bathroom and it's going above the sailing. No to the roof and no outside. There is no ventilation. They have not done it during the renovation.  It's a fake ventilation:(   I'm devastated
