Hi Betty
I seem to remember your original post about this and some discussion about worktop, this is terrible!
Can I ask you to remind me, what worktop have you gone with?
Furthermore, have IKEA installed the kitchen (or provided the installer)
I find it difficult to believe that someone would commence a kitchen removal and install with the knowledge that no worktop is available!?!
My suggestion would be to go into IKEA, (try to) be calm and demand to speak to someone in management and explain the problem and seek help and perhaps even compensation for the disruption. There ARE English speaking managers in IKEA, I have dealt with them in the past and generally found them to be very helpful.
I would never start a kitchen removal/install without having the full materials, however, when natural stone or specialist worktop is required, there is the need to have the provider come and measure up when all the based units are in.
All that said, there are always temporary solutions to assist the homeowner, you clearly have had extremely bad service from the installer. The issue now, August is time off for most locals in Spain!
Please keep us updated and I hope you get your matter resolved sometime soon
Hope it helps
