Locking up house for a month, don't want any damp on my return,  is it best to leave all interior doors open ? We don't have any small windos to leave open, should we leave a small electric radiator on a timer in hall ? Any advise would be great.

A previous post seemed to agree that doors open is the way to go and leave out trays of dehumidifying crystals, salt or cat litter. Check the t&cs of your home insurance re leaving a radiator on but I personally wouldn't leave anything electric on.

Hi We used to leave our place for up to 8 months at a time. Would open very single door and draw in the whole place. Ventilation air flow is the key. Didn’t have any heat on or windows open and never had any damp. Hope this helps, good luck 🤞

Also leave your fridge open I've just come back after being in the UK and I've had to get a new fridge! It was disgusting I won't make that mistake again x
