Hello everyone...

I always seem to find problems with VERY difficult solutions!

Here is my next item...

Around ELEVEN years ago, my partner and myself bought a two bed, three storey duplex town house in a village in Almería Province.

After a short time my partner decided that it wasn't the life for her down in the Almeria area, she then decided to return to her home town in the UK.

On leaving the Almeria area, we left the property in the custody of a 'Real Estate' agent

We have 'English' neighbours each side, and these lovely/reliable people would have advised us, that potential clients had been to the property for an inspection, and as far as we know, this 'agent' has not brought ONE client to visit...in ELEVEN YEARS!

This BEAUTIFUL house is STILL unsold, and my 'former' partner, is beside herself with worry!

She contacted me recently, to request my help and advice, and today, I contacted THREE different agents in that area, and NOT ONE of them has had the courtesy to respond, what the hell is wrong with these people?

The property was bought for 150.000 euros, PLUS taxes etc, and then we bought such a lot of BEAUTIFUL new furniture to go into the house ALL first class equipment, costing a FORTUNE, which is STILL there in situ!

It could transpire, that we could lose EVERYTHING, lock, stock and barrel!

My point is: Should anyone be able to advise, then we would be eternally grateful, even agents or their associates...

My idea of contacting agents down there, is to have one more attempt to sell the property, and then relocate to THIS area, Costa Blanca south, to seek out an 'unfurnished' two bed house...this area, is where my partner would REALLY like to be.

With all due respect, PLEASE respond to our predicament...Thank you...🅱️.

Have  you   or ex partner   visited  your  property  in  Almeria  area in  11 years and that expensive  furniture  you purchased,  Have  contacted  Your  English  neighbours  in  11 years,  Difficult  situation  are problems  in  my eyes,  And  a  problem   can  be solved  if  you  keep  on  top  of  it,  But  11 years Building  and Furniture   won't  be  in  a  nice condition  to welcome  any estate agents

But  sorry  if  I  misunderstood  your post

Were ground tax and utilities (waste water etc.) all these years paid in time? Did you file your annual income tax returns?

Personally if I had a interest in the property and now regional boarders are open i would take a trip down there and find out for myself.
