Before even thinking of letting property you have to gather a lot of information regarding regulations for legal requirements, suitability and outfit. Furthermore you will need a general business licence as the letting is considdered a purpose for obtaining revenue. You will have to contract an "asesor de empresas" to do all the accounts and tax work (some 90,- per month). However, there is a way to bypass all this if you stay away from public offering and telling to anyone and stick to your personal surrounding..

Once you have the licence you have to do a return re tax and income every quarter. PLUS you have to get a user id and password from the police and report on line every single guest who arrives, names etc and when they leave! Every time!
