Does anyone know the cost of applying for a tourist licence and everything else that goes with it , and has anyone done this through there solicitor or other agencies please . Is there anything that can be done to start the ball rolling while I’m still in the U.K. ?

Thank you John56, and yes I have read them numerous times , and thank you for the invitation to get back to this . As I said in my post I wanted to know the costs involved as I have approached a few agents and the costs vary a great deal , so wanted to know if anyone had done this recently and there experience , and did they go through a agent . Although I have had experience in renting out a holiday property in the past but not in Spain I also read up all the rental laws before I bought last August , so I haven’t had it very long, and wanted to get the ball rolling now if possible .

Hi Karoll. Good to hear you did your research first, so many do not sadly. I will PM you a company who handle applications but the first stage is to apply to the Town Hall for your compatability certificate so that you can actually apply for the license. Each town hall is slightly different in the way they do this, and in some cases they are taking months. So it would be good to get that part started as soon as possible.
