Hi, I am in the middle of trying to get more information on the dreaded ‘ Tourist licence ‘ my little bungalow is sadly lacking the quoted 4.5m2 that is required for a shower room, Ihave a small option of maybe knocking through to the utility room but still no guarantee that this will still be okay ( doesn’t help that I’m not over there till April/May) or could I apply for a ‘ studio license ‘ instead ? And if a company/solicitor applies for the license on my behalf and it’s rejected do you lose your 300€ fee you have paid for this service, ( I have looked in the really helpful site about licenses but couldn’t find this information)  so if anyone can shed any light on this I would be very grateful, I have seen a lot of these type of bungalows on various holiday letting sites , ?

Hi RayD, yes I have read everything, but I was trying to find out more information on having it classsed as a studio and the size of the shower room for that. And does it still cost the full 300€+ fees if the application for a license is turned down ? And can’t help feeling really annoyed to say the least on the ridiculous size of rooms stipulated, my shower room has plenty of space, and it’s not that people are living there , it’s for a holiday, my bathroom at home is about the same size 🙄
