What is the price for laying tiles per square metre?

The bit on tiling will be relevant to you and is why my hubby, when working in UK as plumber/bathroom fitter and tiler would never give quotes per m2 for laying tiles unseen, there are just too many variables involved. I can only suggest you follow the advice given in the article, including about any relevant permits required, and get some quotes based on the contractor having visited the site.

Tiles can cost from 5€ per square metre but can go to infinity

I have tiled my bathroom , my en suite and my kitchen walls and floors in my house ,also the full lower floor throughout .

Tiling is a difficult thing to price ,as depending on the condition of walls / floors etc . 

Tips .. watch the person actually tiling , I have seen a few cowboy tilers here , they put a few blobs of cement on tile and lstick “it on , ....problem! .

If you leave a hollow behind the tile , and you drop ,for example a butter knife on the floor ,  the tile will break ,and they have to be lifted again and cleaned , and replaced , Not easy ! But it will look good ...until it breaks ..beware of the tile cowboy ! Your heart will be roasted .

Go to Preyser to buy your tiles ,They are by far the cheapest , and if it is a lot of  square metres , ask for a discount ...they can only say No .
