Hi I’m having trouble getting deliveries from the above companies. (They can never find me) Is there pick up points I can use in Torrevieja or close by. If so how do I go about it. A post office would be good as we don’t really visit bars etc

Many thanks

Hi Sue,

It's best to ask the delivery companies, whether that be Correos or courier companies - many detail local pick-up points on their websites.  For example, when Seur couriers couldn't find me, I ended up picking up my parcel from a designated pick-up point - a photographer's shop in Rojales.  With some companies, this can't be arranged until after the first failed delivery, but others allow you to tell them before they attempt delivery.  Correos is much easier, because they usually return undelivered items to your local post office - they just don't always tell you they've done that! 😄

Good luck!

Kind regards

Kim

Thank you Kim. It’s usually Seur. Did you ask the shop first if it was ok for parcels to be left there. Mostly Spanish businesses near me and my Spanish is limited

Many thanks

Oh dear, Sue, I feel your pain, Seur are the worst 🙄 I've never had a problem with DHL or Correos. After 3 days of waiting in for a Seur delivery, they suggested I pick it up in Rojales.  When I went to the photographer's shop, I assumed he was a designated pick-up point, because he opened a store room to get my delivery and I could see lots of other parcels in there too.

If your Spanish isn't strong, I'd suggest using Google Translate to email Seur about future deliveries.  In the meantime, you should be able to locate your nearest Seur collection point at this link to their website:

Kind regards,

Kim

In the case of Amazon, smaller items can be delivered to their lockers in LA Zenia Boulevard, it's a godsend!

Also Amazon now have new lockers inside Habaneras just as you enter the car park when walking to it from Aki.

Thank you so much for the info it’s a great help. I’ll have to have a look out for them. Do you just advise Amazon of where you want it dropped and how do you access your item?

Hi Susan,

I don't use the lockers as Amazon find my address really easy so I'm sorry but can't help you on that one. Someone else might though. In the meantime go onto your Amazon account and look in deliveries and maybe there will be some info there. :)

Hello

I've collected SEUR deliveries from Amazon for years from a pick up shop in Torrevieja. Its called Todo en Llaves (a key cutting/electrical shop) which is on the corner of  Calle Cabellero de Rodas 99/Calle Apollo  in the centre of Torrevieja . I think you can choose this option after one failed delivery but that could have changed....of course you will need some I.D & I usually take the tracking number

Cheers
