If an unfortunate event has already occurred twice, it will most likely happen a third time.

No 1, My new credit sized TIE card had the wrong wording on it.

No 2, My new credit card sized Spanish driving licence did not include my UK driving entitlements.

No 3, Yesterday I lost my Credit Card somewhere.

I am so pleased my middle name is Lucky.

How awful. I feel so sorry for you.

Hopefully, your credit card will be handed in, although by now you will probably have cancelled it.

Just looked at my Spanish driving licence and can't  see anything about UK driving entitlement. Can you give me a clue how that is indicated please.

Thank you, and yes cancelled the card as soon as I realised it was missing, the funny thing was my old wallet with all these new cards was not good enough, so I bought myself a new one yesterday, so when changing wallets over I realised my credit card was missing, I have been checking my on the line account and at the moment all seems well, so it has not been used?         There was a thread a few days ago titled Exchanging driving license, have a read.

Also when you exchanged your Uk driving licence to a Spanish one, On the back of your uk licence shows what entitlements to drive particular vehicles of all sizes, weights and measures, For example, my uk licence entitled me to drive Vehicles described as A, AM,B, BE, B1, C1, D1, C1E, D1E, F, G, H, K, L, N, P, Q, = 7.5ton/Mini Buses ect ect. When I received my Spanish licence my entitlements were AM, B, BE, That's all, so I have lost all above except 3 of them, limiting me to only 3.5ton including trailer!!!! So back to the drawing board, If you still have a copy of your UK licence check to see? You can always go on the DVLA website, providing you have your UK driving Licence number to check what entitlements you had, but its worth checking the site out.

Lets hope things pick up for us all and we get some type of 4 back. A vaccine would be a bonus.

1,My Tie was wrongly worded like thousands of others, this was due to a Spanish government error.

2,My new Spanish driving licence was with out my entitlements like hundreds of others, this was because the Spanish government don’t recognise Uk driving entitlements on a car licence and a special request is warranted now for inclusion.

3,My credit card was lost because I have become old and senile.

But to answer your question with professional help, I did employ a company called getlegalinspain and the first two of the above was out of their hands and they have informed me they will do their best to correct these when relevant information from the authorities is available. As for looking through the paperwork myself, I don’t read or speak Spanish, yes before you say it, I should learn, but you don’t get a dog and bark yourself.

As for losing my credit card I have bought myself a new wallet.

Thank you for your reply, stay safe and healthy my friend.

Hi

Sorry to hear your flights have been cancelled and the obvious disappointment that goes with that. What airline was that with please?

I've had more than my fair share of things going wrong this year to honestly make this the worst year of my life......and I'm scared to even think to say "so far"

It just makes you wonder when we can all (the world) get back to some normality, but looks a long way off.

We have to keep our chins up!

Stay safe and well.
