Been told I need an old gas bottle to trade in for a new full one at the repsol garage torrevieja. Where can I get an old bottle to do this
To, officially, get a gas bottle you need to take out a contract with a company, either Repsol or Cepsa in this area. Normally cost about 30 euro plus the gas so around 50 euro. You can take out a contract with the company direct or at an official garage. This ensures you have it all legal and up to date. It also puts you on their list so you can arrange for them to deliver the new bomba.
However, most simply buy an old gas bottle for around 10 euro from someone who is selling one on and there are lots of adverts on the expat sites for these. You then take the old bottle and exchange it for the new one.

There are always friends and neighbours who want to get rid of unwanted bottles.
