UK Government announced on 10th Sept. that Spain had approved the use of the UK disabled badge. Does anyone know any more about this? It would not be a surprise me because France approved the use earlier this year.

The Department of Transport announced the Blue Badge UK will now be recognised in Spain. This is confirmed on the UK gov website that has now changed its advice to a Yes when travelling to Spain.

My missus has never stopped using hers in the Spanish Islands. She's never been ticketed and I think it would have to be a hard person who could give someone with a Blue badge from an unrecognised country, a ticket.

She couldn't be bothered to renew it for the last 6 months or so and is now suffering as we have struggled to park lately and often have to walk up a hill back to our place.

No sympathy, as I've reminded her several times.
