Community pools  will.not open  before the end of June at the earliest and the with a lot of new rules this is from the college of Administrators. The new regulations for health and safety  are going to be strict

Many thanks.  That’s very helpful.  Would you mind keeping me updated as we don’t get to hear much in the UK.

thanks

If the government authorises the opening of community pools and your pool meets the new hygiene and social distance rules there is no legal reason it cannot  open, that is a matter for the community of owners .

We have been told not without a full time PAID supervisor.

Does this mean we'll get a reduction in the community fees as we have not been able to use the pool since we moved in ,December 27th?

Why would  you get a reduction  in your community  fees!!! COVID - 19 is a pandemic ,the state of emergency closed your pool, not your President but your pool still  has to be maintained, this cost the same if you swim or not,if your pool opens  in Fase 2 you might find you have to pay more as the cost to implement the new rules is very expensive, I assume  you live here all year.

As the lockdown started in March, it’s not clear why you couldn’t use it before then. The community fees cover many ongoing costs. A community bank account must always hold excess funds to cover any future unexpected expenditure. Fees are always discussed at the ordinary general meeting held each year.
