Thx!

Yes you need to wear a mask in all circumstances except when eating and drinking or swimming and sunbathing on the beach. Running and cycling does not exempt you.

Only an official letter from a doctor that is in Spanish and signed and officially stamped might stop you getting a big fine.

Thanks for the quick responses :)
I was over for 3 weeks in July/August and I had one all the time whilst exercising. I am just checking that the same rules still applied.

"You even need to wear them on terraces when you are not eating"

Where do I pour my drink then? down, or with a straw up?

John56,

I would not have recognized you in the mask, without your monocle on. (wouldn´t the Cola Cao smear a little?)

Hi,

Now I'm really confused.....believe me it doesn't take much!

I run at least 4 times a week, when I'm walking from my house to the nature park just up the road I wear my mask but when I enter the park and start running I remove it. Please correct me as I want to get it right but last I was aware if you're in a wide open natural area and practising running/cycling because you're able to keep a minimum of 2m  you didnt need to wear a mask. This was o N332 website and Spanish Runners World ( also La Moncloa). The only people I do come across are cyclists and runners( we're the only lunatics out in this weather!) and I've never seen any of them wearing one.

I'm sure you knowledgeable gentlemen will help me out.  :)

Thanks

Without looking it up (again) I am almost sure that during sporting running or cycling is exempt. (unless it´s been changed again).

Thanks, RayD. Another one I missed. I'll put my bike back in the shed ( anyway, my lycra doesn't fit since lockdown). I'll stay with the cigs, as all the local bobbies will be chasing the sports- bikers mask-free, round here, about 200 a day. 😇😀. V
