I read somewhere that you can longer leave items that you think might be of use to someone,by the bins any more?

You can be subject to a fine if you do.

We need to dispose of a double headboard in perfect condition, that someone may wish to have?

Any  info would be appreciated.

Call or go to the town Hall.

Or bring it to your local Eco-park

You've never been "allowed" to leave big stuff by the bins, just many people do. The large items are not collected by the regular binmen, a special collection has to be arranged. 966 702 390 was the number that came into your phone from a QR code on a poster but that was a few years ago so may have changed.

Either that or take them to the free eco park behind the fire station opposite Carrefour.

Have gone through Maps,it's actually five minutes from our house.

We go with trepidation,as there are a lot of bad reviews?

Take it to one of the charity shops. There are loads around helping good causes. Big Reds in Torrevieja will gladly take it off your hands and any proceeds go to helping rehome abandoned animals.

Please take it to a Charity Shop. It will benefit someone who may not be able to afford a new one, it will benefit the Charity with the money it raises and it will benefit the environment with one less large item going to landfill or other method of final disposal. It’s probably easier to find a local charity shop than it it to source an eco park. Thank you.
