One of the many jobs I need to do on my next visit is to replace my fridge freezer that gave up the ghost on my last visit. I've sourced one the exact size I need but unfortunately the supplier doesn't do removal of the old unit so I have to get rid of it myself.

I know there are particular laws/rules regarding fridges in UK but I don't know about Spain. Is there a specific place I need to take it in Torre?

Please help, I will be there in 18 days (not that I'm counting).

Thanks for that. It turns out that place is less than 1km from my house but I never knew it was there.

Cheers.

I don't know about Torrevieja, but most town halls would rather collect large items free of charge rather than risk illegal dumping, so perhaps you could ask them.

Otherwise, put it by the bin with a note on it saying 'funciona bien' and it will disappear.

You have to use the Service Road off the Carrefour Roundabout which goes directly outside the Policia Local, then the Bomberos and the entrance will be almost in front of you.

It cannot be accessed from the main road going up to the Lidl roundabout.

I have used the the ayuntamiento pick up service several times. You book it by telephone and they take it when they say they will. You need to leave it outside your property the night before.
