You probably know that you don't need residency to buy and as an EU passport holder you can come and go as you please, however to qualify for residency you need to be able to show you have 700 euros a month paid into a Spanish account or 9000 deposited and not touched for 3 months. My wife has recently been through the process, she's Danish so as an EU passport holder the same rules apply, I'm awaiting my TIE fingerprinting appointment.

Paul, have you arranged your health cover for the first year ?

How much do you have to show per month as income?

We've paid 1000 each for health cover with Salus and we just had to show 9000 each in the bank,  we didn't have to show a monthly amount but we got in before 31/12/20, it's become tougher as 3rd nation citizens.

I'm same as you , I'm E U passport holder and hubby British passport holder, I just wade quirking if you still required health care . Also can you show monthly income rather than bulk amount in bank do you know. did your wife apply for residency first then you after?

We applied together but my wife's application was dealt with quicker and she now has residencia while I'm still awaiting my TIE, I can apply for residencia further down the line and will be treated as an EU citizen because of my wife being Danish, the company who dealt with my application said I had to show 700 a month going into a Spanish bank or 9000 each in our account, we opted for the latter, however this was pre 31st of December.

Hi, I dont even know what a quad bungalow is so its definitely not that. :)  It's a 2 bed ground floor apartment, above is a two-storey apartment  (I.e. one other flat apart from mine in building, restricted to 3 floors including ground, has own private parking,  part of parque del duque gated community, playa flamenca. Orihuela costa.
