No one can control.the rain that came down in the last  24 hours impossible, We only have had rain  six time in the last six months,Agmed have done flood relief work in Torreta Florida I live in that area so know the problems alot of owners put up flood barriers when rain is forecast yo prevent damage.

Who or what is Agmed  don’t think they have been to the bottom of the estate ie Pablo Neruda we were out there on the 11 Nov last time they got flooded it’s no joke only just straight from that. I’m talking 5-6 inches of water inside the house bomberos contacted but never came probably so busy I need to complain to someone our Insurance calls these things acts of god so not covered it’s very frustrating and fright

Not necessarily classed as an Act of God.   If the flood is classed as a National Disaster then I think you will find that your insurance company has to cover it but on if it is classed as a National Disaster.   This one has just been declared as a National Disaster I think I saw on the Internet.   Trying to claim from our insurance myself under this clause.   Good luck,

Everywhere in Torrevieja has been flooded  to a degree we have and are still having the most rain fall they say in 73 years but it is mainly  the roads that are being  cut of,I live in Torreta 3 and not heard of any homes being  damaged I think you should be ok.

Hi All

Just giving you an update on our flood over Easter. Our house on Torreta Florida  acted like a water tank we had barriers up at the electric gate and pedestrian enterance but water still managed to come in via the front door some 5 mtrs  from the gate but only a few centimetres in height difference to the kerb outside we have come to the conclusion that the storm grid outside some 3 ft deep couldn’t cope with the water but when you live at the bottom of the hill and there are no grids on the way down we copped for the lot. Rain water came up through the shower waste and toilet we had no electricity from Good Friday to Easter Tuesday due to the holiday and the phone line was down it was a scary time nobody could get to us because of the depth of the water until Easter Sunday night and then it was on foot through deep water. The water cost us a new pool pump, a new dishwasher as the water came back up through the waste onto its electrics, a new electric gate system due to the electrics for this being under water it was deep. We have had this house for 37years and experienced 2 floods both bad in the last 6 months the previous one being November there’s only so many times you can keep bailing water out Agmed say nothing they can do Called Bomberos on the Saturday but they never came as life not threatened they say it was Wednesday before we could open our doors, don’t think we we will be here much longer too scary and what if we hadn’t been there?
