Hello everyone

I am brand new on the forum and a new home owner in a Villamartin. I have so many questions I don’t know where to start. My house is full of furniture and mattresses I don’t want including beds etc. What is the quickest and easiest way to get rid of this stuff ?
I also have air con that needs attention, a hot tub expert to look at my hot tub, and any ideas on best places to buy fake grass and reasonably priced furniture.

Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated. I’m only here for 5 days initially.
Regards

Aaron

Welcome to the forum and congratulations, hope that you get many years of pleasure from your new home.

For air con Jon Wing lives in your area 680256264

Fake grass you could try Leroy Merlin ( think B&Q type) down the road at La Zenia Boulevard.

Also at the other side of the Boulevard Conforama for furniture.

These are just for starters, others may add to it.

As for the unwanted furniture etc, if you can pick up any local free newspapers you will probably find numbers of charities etc.

Whatever you want to dump, refer to Ecoparque phone 965 707 232. Closes at 2pm

Thanks Ken, much appreciated. I’ve been to a few of these places but the grass is not the size I need in Leroy - and wanted to know if anyone knew anywhere slightly cheaper for furnt

Hi Aaron  for your artificial grass try these very highly recommended and in La Zenia just off the island near paddy’s point https://www.nogrowgrass.com/  I agree with Kenbo ref Conforama always seem to have a sale on good prices , if you still have old furniture to move we contacted Orhuela town hall via email took a couple of attempts but they came to house to collect no charge all the best Marcus

The Orihuela Costa Town Hall number you call before leaving stuff in the street by the bins is 966 760 000.

They will tell you where to leave it and on what day. Whether the Town Hall answers the phone and whether they tun up to collect is out of your hands but if anyone questions you dumping stuff at the side of the road you can at least honestly say that you've called the Town Hall. And if the police see you, you'll avoid the fine.

Hi jonesy14, Reach Out Extienda La Mano are a Charity in Torrevieja supporting the needy families and homeless.

They would consider collecting furniture EXCEPT beds and mattresses.

look at www.reachouttorrvieja.eu for more information.
