Hi

I need some help regarding my electric bills, on the bills where there has been no usage of electric there is still a charge i realise there are standing charges which are usually around 8/9 euros, the bill can still be around 25 euro i have tried contacting iberdrola with no satisfaction, also can anyone recommend the best tariff to be on we would be in Torrevieja about a week to ten days at a time any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Barri

My bills are around 20e per month when I am not there.  Standing charge, meter rental and Vat. So your about right on what you should be paying

This is weard I had quired my bill and was told that I was paying for maintenance for any electrical breakdowns which was carried over from the last tenant. However I'm paying between 50 and 60 Euro per 55 days whilst not in use

That's a little on the high side. Need to check what tarriff your on. Anything over 3.5 is a tad expensive

Yes, my bill should be two monthly but they have just taken an extra month in between, will watch this thread with interest...

Also, my lecoutre bills for an empty 2 bed apartment with maybe one week to 10 days use for the two month is around 60-75€. And we are very conservative with the usage....looking at other posts this seems excessive.

61€ in Feb then 45 in march they just billed me, since last November I've stayed for 4 days in January, granted aircon/heat was on for 1hr each evening so maybe 5 hours aircon/heat max. No cooking and out most of the time....I need to address this when I'm over next.

I moved over to them from Iberdrola because they were cheaper. Transfer over was very straightforward.

Cheers, Iain.

Hi

Iberdrola have gone to monthly billing. If you go into the local office they will give you a 6% discount.
