Please could anyone advise of an insect repellent I can buy in Torrevieja. Getting bit to shreds. Thank you

You can buy AUTAN spray/lotion in most Spanish supermarkets. Slather it over any exposed skin and it usually helps. There are various other similar products widely available in the supermarkets - you pays your money and you takes your pick.

Skin so soft by avon or lavender cologne(from mercadona)
I use Nenuca baby lotion, it has a lovely lemon smell and does the job. You can get it from Consum or Mercadona. I had lots of recommendations about it from this forum.

I find “Halley” products very good - available in most Farmacias and seems to be the most popular with Spanish people - you’ll often see a bottle of it being used in Spanish owned shops etc

Try Citronella spray from the Mercadonna cosmetics section. Cheap and I find it very effective.
