My husband has type 2 diabetes.

To save us a trip to our medico, would anyone know if he can get lancets on prescription

He doesn't inject himself, just takes oral meds.

Gracias.

A pharmacy would know and will not charge you to answer the question.. There is one on almost every corner..

If you are visiting, just bring a 3 month supply with you..

Yes,they would,Gracias.

We live here.

We had to buy them in the U.K.,but they are very expensive here.

Almost a Euro per lancet.

Thanks for your help.

I had to search Google for "what they are" and there were many online sites to purchase them.  Don't know about the quality.  The NHS site also says to shop around as the prices differ between retailers.

We can purchase them from Farmacia, but they are 50€ for 50 lancets.

If you are testing 3/4 times a day, this is very expensive.

Which tester are you using, they use different lancets?

My wife gets hers free form the Salud, if you are in the system you should too.

Hers is a One Touch Verio which is the standard device prescribed in Spain, are you not in the system then?
