Murcia Ikea Home Delivery

Hi all- after 8 years I agree with the Boss that our Ikea kitchen cupboards and drawers are in need of renewal. Carcasses are great.

Snag.... it seems only Ikea items will fit (especially drawers) and as we have no need for our own vehicle it's either asking our builder/handyman to transport Sue to Murcia - or choose online for home delivery. The Boss knows what she wants.

Whist our handyman is great, he's not cheap ....... Taking Sue to Murcia would inflate the budget.

QUESTION:- Has anyone in or near to La Mata/Torrevieja used Ikea Murcia home delivery? Any hints or tips?

I'm hedging as UK Ikea home delivery is anything but- triggered many complaints but that's UK for you. Hope Spain will be better even if the collection point is closer than Murcia itself.

Hi call 693251562 Dave Payne lives in Los montesinos collect and install IKEA

Have you already been to the IKEA store in Zenia Boulevard to pick out what you want and order?

OMG La Zenia Boulevard.... Ikea were at CC Habaneras- so they've relocated there. Any man's favourite place :-)

However as we both prefer dealing with a human being at time like this.... needs must. So thank you for the heads-up

Returned to UK yesterday for "matters medical" so grasp the nettle and off to La Zenia next time.

Hi Rosa Tours do a day trip to Ikea and Murcia you could maybe go and see all the items first hand and then order on line maybe Ikea in Murcia do order and delivery too.

Sue has reviewed website in UK and in Spain- both have the doors she wants. We're an hour away from nearest UK Ikea- and Sue has family in the area. We'll travel in UK to view "in the flesh" then start trying to get delivery from Murcia.

I have had a few deliveries from IKEA to our apartment in Torrevieja. All sorts from a kitchen to beds and other furniture. Ordered online, you can choose delivery date when buying. On each delivery day driver phoned via WhatsApp and I sent a location pin drop. It arrived on the date each time with no worries.

At last! A full reply to my query. However after leaving Habaneras someone did tell me Ikea have a presence at "Man's Favourite" (La Zenia Boulevard)

Next visit will see us at the Boulevard- prefer to deal with a human being :-) To be fair to Sue she's picked out her preferred doors etc but we may endure a visit to local Ikea in UK to see in the flesh.

Delighted to hear of your positive experience with home deliveries- in the UK they don't do it- just direct you to a pick up point miles away (in my case 40 minutes drive) then they don't appear. After THAT experience rather wary about Spain Ikea, but heartened by your experience.

Hi we have a place in spain but live in uk we were looking for a sofa bed and went to our local ikea in uk to check them out lady was very helpful was able to check out to see if Marcia had it in stock, unfortunately it was out of stock but she was able to fill out a form and Marcia ikea emailed when in stock we then went to ikea shop at la Zenia Boulevard to order it
