Hi all, we've arrived at our holiday home, here in Torrevieja, our 3rd year, we always come about this time of year, but to be honest we're struggling with where to go for a lively and entertaining night out!?!? We don't mind a little travelling to get to, it's the getting back we'd need to know about taxis, can anyone advise us!?!? We go to the same bar each time, Bar Carlos, we have no complaints, but are looking for an alternative!!! Cheets all xx

hi, we are the same, we have had an apartment for 14 years and we always go to carlos bar, the truth is as far as i am aware there are not a lot of bars in torrevieja that do entertainment, so we started to look around, we found a restaurant, el huertano, they have entertainment on a tuesday and thursday, the food is fantastic to, the address is, calle benejuzar,4, 03185 torrevieja, it gets very busy so best to phone for a table. phone +34 965 71 79 43. you won't be disappointed. mick.

also paula, you can have a good night out in the old marina, there is always something going on down there, in the restaurant nautic on a tuesday evening they have a flamenco dancer and spanish guitarist, you will have to book a table, if you get down there early you can have a nice relaxing drink in the moby dick (happy hour) the seafood pasta in the nautic is lovely, phone 966 70 10 74. mick

we know what its like paula, we got so fed up with going carlos it was driving us mad, you get stuck in the normality of not having nowhere to go and always ended up at carlos, we have found some nice restaurants since we started to look around, sometimes its nice to sit in a restaurant for the night and just relax, also think carlos has been getting a bit seedy lately, once you've seen all the acts 30 or 40 times it gets a bit monotonous,. mick.
