Non-resident Torrevieja bus tarjeta

Aware of resident situation, but we are not.... yet!

Can anyone clarify the date to renew the non-resident tarjeta in Torrevieja, please?

When do we have to renew it and will our existing balance be forfeit? We have seen December 31 as the latest date and that any remaining balance is not transferred.

The above, though, may have come from an unreliable source. Grateful to hear from another "in the know"

Doesn't say it will continue and it doesn't say it won't. Don't think it is obvious

A reply from Avanza by email this morning stated that it will remain for all Intercity lines. As for local buses, it remains valid for the time being but will cease to be accepted once the new Torrevieja urban transport cards come into effect
