What are they trying to sell to you?
For me, it's healthcare or debt assistance mostly.
You'll be in your 60's at least and have looked at health insurance or pensions or similar. You'll be surprised who's passing your details around.
The other one is, they just want your info. A regular one is "what make is your washing machine?"
Totally innocent, until a few days later, you get a call asking about your washing M/C and how you should buy insurance. I've even had them say that I've already asked for a quote.
It's disgusting.
They know all about you and the hope is that you're a minted, senile, victim.
It's all about the money, no more, no less.
My strong advice is to immediately decline the call or just string them along a while, all in the knowledge that you can't believe a word of what they're saying.
You'll either be fleeced or outright robbed.
