Hi can anyone give advice on health insurance. I'm thinking of renting on a long term basis, but if I can't get residencia I need private health insurance. Any advice welcome.

Talk to Alfonso at Gran Alacant Insurances. Scroll down a bit and find his ad on the right hand side.
Hello Liz, if you aren't entitled to a SIP card, you will need private health insurance to get Residencia anyway, with the first year's premium paid up front.
