Public Toilets in Torrevieja centre

 No,  public toilets in most of Spain are very rare.    In Torrevieja there are accessible toilets in large stores/supermarkets, cafes, bars, hotels etc. you really do have to ask. In the summer months there are some toilets on the beaches near beach bars.

I would avoid the main bus station as the toilets in there are awful &  very often ... ...unhygienic, no paper, soap or secure doors.

Yes in bars and the bus station there are toilets as well as main supermarkets like Mercadona

There are new and clean public toilets in the main underground car park, the door entry code is printed on your car park ticket. 

A couple of years ago we found public toilets at the tourist information office on the harbour front.

 Certainly worth a try although they closed them during lockdown & never seemed to reopen them - I gave up going in eventually., maybe they are open now.

When I'm passing through a town or shopping and need the loo but too busy to stop I use a bar and always leave a small tip on the counter.

⁹Hi Elinspain, yes I agree, Torrevieja bus station was disgusting let's hope the new one when built will be better kept, I'm  sure it will. I travelled around alot on my visit to Spain and was very impressed with the baños in most of bars and restaurants, I know being impressed sounds funny but I was in comparison to the UK. Turbo.

My local Repsol filling station has public toilets that would put Birmingham Airport to shame!

Arg, maybe we're going to have toilet wars, could be the new thing now that the potential for bust ups over Brexit are a bit limited!

Do you not have to order something from bars/cafes before you use their toilets?
