Hi Geraldine ,

I would suggest you grab a couple local estate agents details and ask them for a free   Appraisal of your property ?

You will need to ask what the fees are, obviously what they think is a realistic selling price and approx selling times? Although it is a case of “ how long is a piece of string” at the Moment with the present economic situation and normally places take a lot longer to sell in spain then they do in the Uk.

The more agents you have around the better as you should be able to make your mind up as to who you would like to work with?

Also weather buying or selling it’s always good to obtain your own Solictor as all agents will automatically say they have the best ones who they work with etc etc and then your not compromised.

All the best for you,

Regards.

Some of those Agents will ask YOU for 5.000,- flat, and furthermore put a mark up on what you ask for your property. These re not the times for profitble housing business, and those to come will be even worse. Mid- and long term letting/renting (w/o licnese) has it's risks buy could pay for the maintenance and you will keep the property.
