Hi,

I understand that people travelling from red and grey coded countries now require a negative PCR test test to enter Spain, carried out in the previous 72 hours.

I'm assuming that this is not required for people travelling from Ireland because of Ireland's status as a category orange country.

I would appreciate any information from people who have travelled this week or where to find the list of countries that are currently exempt from the test.

Thanks for reading this post and I would appreciate any comments.

Rgds, John.

Hello

Here is the  guide        PCR testing for Spain

See No 3 & you'll see you are required to provide a negative test

Cheers

Hi Elinspain

Thanks for your quick response, I still have a question.

That data was posted on  17th November which probably means its from the previous Thursday, the day that the codes are updated.

Ireland went to status Orange on Thursday 19th November, do you know where to get the latest data and the full list ??   The list will be updated again tomorrow Thursday 26th November.

Thanks, Regards, John.

Hello John

No afraid I don't,    but the status of the countries coming into Spain,  has not changed the guide so far,  no country has been added or removed, only those mentioned (parts of Finland, Norway & Greece) on the guide have exemptions.

Hi Elinspain,

I think I understand how it works now, its explained  on the Spanish Ministry of Health website and also on Murcia Today this week.

The current data is from 12th of November and is to be updated every 15 days.

That means there will be a new list on Friday 27th November excluding countries that have exited the red and grey zones.

Fingers crossed !!!

Rgds, John.
