Hi folks.

We have the €7 bus pass and thus far have used it on the local routes into Torrevieja, La Mata and Punta Prima etc..

However, can we use it to go further afield and if so, where to?

Thanks in advance.

Will.

Hello

It  is a Torrevieja Town Hall concession so only valid on Torrevieja route buses  Routes A --H.

To Alicante, Zenia Boulevard  etc & beyond,  you have to pay, ZB still only €1.50

Cheers

Hi Elin.

That's great thanks.

Can I ask one more thing. If we want to go to Alicante do we just go to the bus station and show our card and then pay the €1.50?

This is fab news, if so.

Hi

No, you cant use your card to Alicante - only for  Torrevieja bus routes A - H.

You just buy a ticket for Alicante at the ticket window.   You also buy a ticket for buses that go to Zenia Boulevard from bus station , that ticket is €1.50 no card required.

Hope that makes sense

Cheers

Hello

You have to be a resident of Torrevieja with a  TIE/Residencia card or A4geen residencia  paper) ,  and registered on the city padron .....Your location says La Zenia so not available to you.

If you have all this , there is an office inside the indoor fruit/veg/fish market in the centre of Torrevieja

Hello

Depends what you call simple, it is for  me but Ive been here for years and always had a bus card but not always for 1st time applicants

.  Its ok if you have all correct documents and speak spanish (or take someone who does) i. Your documents   will be checked then you will be asked to go & pay the fee at a certain bank  and then you return to the office to get  your photograph taken & card processed

cheers

There were a few jobsworths there when we went for ours.

That was 7 years ago,so they may have better staff now.

We didn't take a translater, but somehow managed to get through it.
