Hi All

Yes I know this is another Tourism Licence post but I need some advice. We applied through our Lawers in October 2018 for the 2 applications one for the certificate of urbanism we received in June 2019 and the other for the Tourism Licence. I asked our Laywers today if they had a update on the process only to be told it's now taking 1-2 years.

Have any of you lovely people applied for the same as we have around the same time and are still waiting.

Thank you for your reply. Yes that seems to make sense. I think at the outset our Laywers didn't make it quite clear how the application worked. It's such a shame it takes so long as we would like a income on our investment and of course with guests in the apartment they would be putting money into all the local busineses. Never mind it will arrive sooner rather than later.

our letting agent informs us it is 6 months from application which has been in the hands of our lawyers in Torrevieja,we applied early Aug.19

we were advised the following MUST be in place in order for application to proceed

1.reg.with tax authority

2.have a Spanish bank acc.

3.Spain has your N.I.no and details

4.make sure that the no.guests applied match the sleeping facilities i.e if you apple for 6 no guests and it is obvious you property

can only accom max.4 no your appli will be rejected,it is important to get such nos accurate
