Yes it is. But it doesn't affect me as i live in Spain.

Maybe if the UK copied the Spanish stance on immigration, i.e no job or money = no live or benefits in Spain, then that would stop the boats overnight.

About 2 days worth of the £350m/wk UK is supposedly saving according to Boris's bus then.

I have little doubt that government wastes more on other things every month if not every week so not worth getting excited about.

Surely it would more sense to process the 166,000 migrants who are awaiting processing in the UK, rather than send maybe 200 to Rwanda.

I agree, if the Uk government had a functioning immigration service, this would have been sorted about years ago. You can't blame people for seeking a better life, millions have done that in many countries down the years. Many of them already have friends or family in the UK. There is over 100.000 vacancies in the NHS alone, never mind many other vacancies caused by many EU nationals returning home after Brexit. The Tory government is making it more difficult for many to even stay in the Uk, with ridiculous minimum salary requirements at around 38,000K, for them to remain. The majority of the country doesn't earn that.

The other issue is where do they originate from? No passports or documentation? The UK tax payer has already given 2.5 million to Rwanda, for what exactly? It's complete incompetence. Someone mentioned the 350 million saving on the Boris bus each week. What a joke that was, sadly too many in the UK believed it. The processing needs speeding up, then either they can stay or be deported. Some would still take a chance of getting in but it would stop a large percentage if within a couple of weeks the decision was made and many were refused entry.
