Good Morning, we were just about to take out Private health insurance, and at the last minute we’re told that because I have had a stroke, 15 years ago, that we would not be covered for any illness that may relate to that. Which basically I feel that almost anything medical they could say was somehow connected to the stroke, and therefore would not cover you. Does anyone know of any Insurance co. That covers people who have had a stroke a long time ago please ? I also had a CSF 6 years ago, but not concerned about coverage for this.

Contact Alfonso of Gran Alacant Insurances who advertise down the right hand side. He has many recommendations on this forum and my own personal experience is very good.

I agree with Cheryl, if anyone can help with PHI and preexisting conditions cover it with be Alfonso.

Many people (including myself) have had to revise plans to apply for residencia due to health conditions. It would be really useful if you were to keep the forum updated with your search🤪🥂

We took out health insurance with Alfonso last year for residency, no health insurance in spain will cover pre existing. We took the insurance out with the clause so that we could gain our residency and this year we have paid into the Spanish healthcare as they do cover everything.
