My friend needs dialysis three times a week and wants to come out to his holiday home at La Florida Al Andalus. Three years ago he got it at Torrevieja hospital but they have said it can’t be done now as he’s not got residentia . He wants to get that but needs to get Dialysis organised to come . Can anyone help where he could get it. Willing to pay if need to .Thanks

If you search this forum for residencia you will find a lot of advice and information. One important fact is that he will have to apply whilst in the UK not Spain.

Your own doctor should know where there's a private dialysis unit in the area.

Before Brexit dialysis was covered by an EHIC, commonly faciltated with the issuing of a temporay SIP card.

The EHIC survived Brexit thus dialysis ought to be still available however the temporary SIP seems not to be so the problem is likely one of procedure not entitlement.
