Healthcare for retired Irish moving to spain

Will I have to pay for healthcare when I move to spain. In Ireland I have a medical card. Any information would be very welcome.

Hello Bernadette,
I know that once either you or your husband are retirement age and in receipt of state pension then you are entitled to Spanish health care. You go to your local Centro de Salud (Medical Center) with your EHIC and passport.
Sorry I don’t know about medical card holders entitlements in rest of EU and don’t see any information on HSE website about this.
