I am looking for a Spa in the area that will enable me to relax occasionally and enjoy the warm water and help me to feel relaxed, after falling a few times in the last couple of years and feeling the after effects of that!
Perhaps someone could recommend somewhere to me....Just a lovely hour every now and again would be ideal. Any ideas?

If you're willing to do an hour's drive, the well known spas are at Archena and Fortuna (you could combine a visit with a trip to Nueva Condomina or Ikea!).

There is ONE free parking area before entering the Archena Spa Complex with very little chances to find any space. Inside the only possibilities are paid covered areas. Archena is somewhat more luxurious than Fortuna, the surroundings are unique and very quiet. Prices are affordable and there are 3 hotels to choose from. A place not to miss out (as I see it - I live nearby).

Thank You. I know the Hotel but I find the parking tricky. I cannot walk far. Hotel La Laguna seems to be excellent.

I recommend Thalasia in Lo Pagan. My kids go there. They seem to have a day package like swimming, massage, meal etc for a small price. Parking is not a problem.

If you are on a budget, Fortuna, better Banos de Fortuna, is the place to go. Choose between cosy bungalows and low prices hotels at affordable prices. Archena is more luxury and there is no free car parking available. Better come and see for yourself - I live just 4 mls. away and know both places very well.
