Hi, we have recently had our residency application approved and are now waiting for an appointment at Alicante for our TIE. Are we able to register our S1 forms before we actually receive the TIE using the residency approval paperwork?
Also is there somewhere in or around Torrevieja where we can get the required size photos for the TIE?
Look forward to some useful advice.

Afraid not, you will be required to produce proof of actual residence.
If you have only completed the initial EX-20 stage then that's proof only that you have passed prequalification to apply for residency.

I have been trying to get an appointment with the INSS for 2 months now to register my form S1. I have filled in the appropriate form online all to no avail. Best of luck

Following on from earlier correspondence, we have now attended Alicante and have a "Resguardo de solicitud o renovacion de tarjeta de extranjero" and have to wait 7 weeks to collect the TIE. Can we use this to register our S1 forms? I'm assuming the worst!
