Well I received by txt message last night for my AZ vaccine appointment on Monday 19th April @ 13.22 pm in Torrevieja. I had only registered last Tuesday, after weeks of trying, so my persistence did pay off, as I nearly gave up. Have a nice day everyone and stay safe and healthy. Edit = 61 years of age.

... of age.

Spain finally seems to be getting a move on with the roll out, my husband had his first Pfizer jab yesterday at Orihuela Medical Centre ( aka Cabo Riog) and got his appointment for follow up vaccination in exactly 3 weeks time. 👍

Morning, how old are you Peter just so we can keep an idea on age groups being called.

I’d be interested to know if there’s a choice of vaccines available given that AZ has only 60/70 % efficacy rate in comparison to Moderna & Pfizer that seem to be in the mid 90’s

Hi, yes apologies not including my age = 61. Two of my friends aged 62, female and 64, male have recently had their AZ vaccine and my neighbour Aged 76 had her Mederna vaccine  just over a week ago, all Torrevieja, behind Carrefore. Hope it helps.

As far as I am aware you have no choice of vaccine. You will get the one that is available for your age group when you have your appointment.
