Looking for any information on Car Hire best places as we are coming over New year's Eve for 2 months and want to look at properties either to rent or buy any information would be grateful thanks

Try Spanish company Centauro. Comprehensive online website in several languages, good deals, reliable. We used them for years since they were effectively one man and a few cars, now large company.
Never had any problems.

Try Les at Wheels in Spain. He meets you at Alicante airport at pick up and drop off. Excellent service, good cars, no quibbles, doesnt need a credit card number, fuel policy is leave it as you find it.
Really recommended.

D and M car hire in Villa Martin they also pick you up from Alicante or Murcia airport.
Put name in Google as they have a website with all the prices on

I booked a car with interrent through do you Spain recently i was charged for damage that didn't exist neither company will answer emails to deal with it I will never use either company again

Can't beat Coys Rent a Car. Torrevieja. Good family run business. No hidden extras.Completely trustworthy. Good competitive deals for leaving your own car at Alicante airport,my neighbours tell me. We live here,and always used Coys at the beginning of our re location. We then bought a car from them. Solid company.

Yes! Centauro is great!! I have rented a car this whole summer ( 3 months) through them ( always 3 weeks rentals, then I have to swap cars- but it is worth it). I have paid a total of 80 euros this summer due to Covid and cheap rates 🤪.
A good idea is to pay for a personal car rental insurance that covers windshield/tires and of course any deductable in case of general damageand. I have one through my Mastercard for less than 80 euros per year.
There are plenty of local, long term rental companies - generally cost is between 10-25 euro per day depending on season. Because of their set rate it is more expensive than Centauro during low season at least and you get a way older car....
But at times, it is the way to go in case you need a long term rental that you can just pick up and leave locally.

Avoid Goldcar. They gave me a car with over fifty thousand km on the clock and riddled with dents. Then they charged my credit card with €320 for damages they say I caused, and €84 for petrol, even though I returned it with a full tank.

The same happened to me with interrent who are owned by goldcar
