The above post is good advice. Getting work of any kind in Spain seems to be a tough one. At home, anyone can get something eg a spot of gardening, cleaning windows, home help and many more but you can’t do that in Spain as anyone will tell you. Even renting your home out is illegal unless you have a special renting licence. It’s difficult/ nigh impossible I’d say. Unless you can afford to finance yourselves, you’d find things tough going. Very rarely will people make a profit on property sales, some may be lucky but people come to our area looking for a bargain and only prepared to pay below value price. On top of that, more and more houses are popping up, more modern and designed to suit the tourists. Many of the older properties are smaller and darker inside , designed to keep the house cool in summer and warmer in winter but with air con now widely installed , you don’t need these features. Please do not rush into anything, particularly at this time.
Meanwhile, I wish you all the best and hope your dreams come true.
