Hi there

I'm visiting torrevieja in July 17th 2019

With my wife and 3 girls, me and my wife have been together for 20 years, in this time have dreamed of moving to Spain.

I'm a tradesman that only does the work I have experience in, with a large portfolio of work completed running my own business.

Please can you tell me is there an opportunity for a trademen with my skills,

Roofing all aspects . General building.

Patios . Paving . Brickwork . Artificial grass.  Carpentry . Painting

This is the work I'm qualified and  highly skilled I'm a member of checkatrade for 10 years.

I CANT DO

Plumbing . Electrics . Plastering

If you have any information I'd really appreciate it, and I'm out in July should any body need me to quote. As if I can show you my skills and get work before we made the move that is how I'd like to build my reputation in Spain.

Please check out my pictures

Kind regards

Paul

Hi Pete

Thank you for your response, I've been looking at it for about 3 months now and I think I'm a bit clear on the legal side, your info was very helpful thank you,

Even after Brexit we intend to move the way I was thinking is if I was to offer my services voluntary at first with my expenses paid for

This will help get my good character out there and help finance the move

Please let me now what you think 👍

A couple of sites that may have answers to some of the queries that you will have are:    Citizens Advice Bureau Spain for general and beaurocratic information and N332 for anything to do with driving in Spain.

The first thing you have to do before starting work is make sure you are fully legal to work in Spain that will improve your chances  of getting work as working on the black cash in hand is coming  to a end the cowboys  are getting caught.
