Hi Anita,

I have a villa in Playa Flamenca and since the Boulevard was built it certainly isn’t quiet in the winter.  The Max Gym is local as are the Bank, Town Hall and Post office.  The promenade is beautiful and a lovely scenic walk.

Hi Alice

Thank you for your response I'm still drawn to that area for some reason even though I have never Been , I'm advised to rent first and spend some time looking but I'm on a tight budget so unless I can get something that's not going to swallow up my buying money I might be OK but I'm hoping to pay a visit not too far I hope from there In  April , but I will be on my own and it's all a bit confusing I think had brexit not happened it would have been less so but any information and advice is greatly appreciated

Hi Wilbur thanks for your response I feel I'm going to have to try to do that it's just the cost at the moment to get a few visits and not to incur too much expense  plus annual leave as I work in mental health. But I just need to understand more and try not to stress too much about the December changes but any information I always appreciate

Hi Anita as everyone has said, the best option would be to explore the different areas and stay in different places to get the vibes of each area. I have a place in Villamartin (pau8) which is a ten minute walk to the plaza and a cab ride to the beach. Other areas I think you might like are la Zenia, Cabo Roig, los dolses, which are all within walking distances of commercial centres and in the case of la Zenia the largest shopping centre in the region( la Zenia Boulevard).all of these places are more or less all year round busy. Happy hunting and good luck

Hello will thank you for your response. Its not easy to know the best places as I have heard of some of them but equally some are too remote and too quiet for me as a single person. Need to  be in a vibrant area but still be able to live in an area that's not mega noisy but all in walking di...

...stance I am into body building and fitness so a gym close by is essential I was told punta prima or playa flamenca but then was informed that they go very quiet iin the winter so I'm as you would expect quite confused, but any information is appreciated

Anita

Hi Anita

Playa Flamenca beach side goes quiet but not towards the Boulevard and heading out walking past the Boulevard you have areas of La Zenia which are fairly ex pat places and mixture of cultures so lots to do. You can then drop into the Cabo Roig strip. It is heaving in summer but still stuff going on in Winter. There is the coastal bus that goes to all points from Guardamar all along past Pilar de La Horradada so Torrivieja Punta Prima Playa Flamenca Cabo Roig etc.

Plus there are lots of clubs to join if you wish. You wi be wishing you had time for everything when you arrive.

WhatsApp wasn't working but there really is a lot of social activities to get involved in and meetup.com have different social stuff and Facebook social groups. Social or sport stuff.
