My wife and I are in Villamartin for all of February.
We have not visited for about 20 years and would be interested in meeting up with others for a drink or coffee and listening to live music.
We remember the plaza/square but wondered if this is still the only place to meet as I seen to remember it was.

I think you may be in for a surprise! I bought my property 12 years ago and all around was just scrub land, nothing built, well now I am in the hub of everything. La Fuente has lots of bars, restaurants etc. Plenty to do and see. Lots of shopping too. Enjoy. I am not back til March so will miss you but have a great time.

We arrived today at Villamartin.
Much more built up than we remembered. Now with an International School near where we are stating.
The Plaza looked much the same although a few of the businesses looked to have changed of course.
We have just spoken to some friends we knew 20 years ago we did not know lived out here and we are meeting them tomorrow night to eat in The Plaza.
We will check out La Fuente.
Sorry to hear you are not back until March.

We have had problems with our satnav so are not happy to trust it as yet. People here are using Google maps I understand.
