Hi,

I have stumbled across this forum, so thought I would take the opportunity to ask a few questions with the hope of a few answers.

I am a ' very almost' 40 year old woman with over 25 plus years experience in Early years Education.  I am a Senior Nursery Officer working with Nursery age children and Reception age. I have committed 19 years in the job that I am still employed in with Brent Council at a large 3 form inner London School.

My partner is a croupier but also has experience in estate agency and customer service.

For a while now my partner and I have been considering a new life and was thinking of Torrievieja.   Although we have not visited the area of Torrievieja, after exploring and researching the area we feel Torrievieja suits us! ( Obviously we would visit a few times before making the move if we were to do so! )

I / we were just wondering how easy or difficult it is to find employment. And can you recommend any Torrievieja employment sites to investigate jobs.

Also can you recommend areas to live in Torrievieja.

What is the cost of living like? We probably would rent an apartment initially to see how we would settle in Spain.

How good are the transport links as I am not confident to drive in Spain.

Also how easy is is it to build friendships / links with locals.

Any information regarding Torrievieja and living in Spain would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Michelle
