Hi, I have just joined this site and finding it very interesting indeed..

I was hoping someone can guide me into the right direction of where's the best busy place to move in Torrevieja. I do want to move in a mixed English and Spanish area. With shops, bars and restaurants near by.. Also where is the best location to move with regards to looking to find Admin and Accounts Office jobs too? Can anyone help please as I will be moving over beginning of August this year. Thanks Nicky from Leicester.

Do you speak excellent Spanish? If not you will not be able to work here.

All services relating to foreigners are over subscribed here, with firms having to have employees who speak at least three and ideally four or five languages (Spanish, English, at least one Scandinavian, and russian/baltic language.

Life is not made easy for foreigners here and your problems are where the Spanish make their living. They have it down to a fine art.

Come to Spain when you retire, that is my advice Nicky.

Hi Doris,

Thanks for your reply.. I am going there for a holiday and would like to see what the area is like. What price are you renting the flat for? Really appreciate your help.

One of the best places to buy or rent is Baños de Europe in Torrevieja CP 03184.post code.it is a mixted community15 minutes  walk  from Carrefour  and Habaneros, 10 minutes walk  to Mercadona  and Farmacia, bazaars , bars and restaurants. We are on a bus route we ha e two schools 5 minutes away a infant and a senior. The beach to drive is ten minutes or 25 if you walk. It is a quiet  area but close to everything. There is I think a waiting  list to buy as apartment  and houses dont  come up for sale often,we also have uninterrupted views  of the pink salt lake and sunsets that change as the go down over the mountains every night. I hope this helps.
