Hi Maureen just read your post im also from Dublin and im planning on moving out to spain next august or there abouts. I set my initial thoughts on torreveija but reading some of the messages on the forum a lot of people are talking about La Zenia and La Marina. Im going to the exhibition in Birmingham in September and 2 weeks later im going to torreveija for a week with my daughter. I am 53 years young {lol} excited and anxious but definitely making the move. Im looking forward to seeing torrevieja and the surrounding areas hoping to travel daily on the bus to the different areas to see what its all about. What is it you love so much about torreveija.

Shelly

I have been in Spain 3 years and have moved once whilst here. I live near Quesada now but still on main links for N332 and AP7 so can get to anywhere.

It is hard to go into detail about anything in depth here but would be glad to chat by phone if easier or WhatsApp.

I would look and find what fear you have for moving and see where it came from. I.e. is it really your fear or an old family member giving you false beliefs or is it friends who are scared to move so put their fears on you.

One friend told me it would be my biggest mistake. Same friend now says told you it was the right move for you. I just smile to myself.

Rent first and explore .. you’ll love it .. then move to where you end up spending most of your time.
