Hi . I am looking to buy an appartment in Torrevieja and would like to get some  advice on getting a well known English speaking solicitor and the better banks in Torrevieja. I have already been out and views 17 appartments and the estate agents tell me, I do not need a solicitor and they can do it all for me with the Notery ?. I'm coming back out this month and would appreciate any advice and help .

Many Thanks

Warren

Hi,

Here is the name of a very trustworthy Solicitor in Torrevieja....

Maria Dolores Castejon.        Tel 0034 965 705 876

We have been with her for 8 years, she handles everything including the Notary. On our urbanisation very recently,  2 new buyers didn’t use a Solicitor just Agent and Notary and have ended up with outstanding debt on one of the houses of €8,000. A neighbour and Estate Agent said he doesn’t see this very often anymore but it does happen and the important checks on the property are not done.

Hello, we are estate agents and would always recommend you use a Lawyer.  We can recommend a lawyer to you and can also help you with your property search if you wish.  Kind regards Tracey

Hi we purchased an apartment in 2004 and our Solicitors are Abaco in Torrevieja. They are excellent. Their office is in Calle Maria Parodi.  Our bank is near La Mata and it’s Deutsch Bank. Don’t have much dealings with bank really. Wouldn’t dream of changing solicitors. I can contact them with any query and they’re always so efficient and friendly

Thank you! I will also keep it in mind, looking to buy this year.

I have just bought a property and used Easylegals, they got everything done very quickly , had originally gone with the estate agents one , big mistake , if I hadn’t have changed we would still be waiting , lesson learned , and always get a solicitor , to much can go wrong, happy hunting 👍

Hi Warren, I can highly recommend Jose Mena from IRS, M&S Interealty SL as a good solicitor. He helped us so much when we bought our property here. He has 2 offices, 1 of which is in Torrevieja:

Calle Galeon, 13 - Bajo 03182

Telephone no: 96 670 28 71

Hope this is of some help to you.
