Hi there, first of all, thank you for letting me join the forum.  ive picked up a few helpful hints and tips and now im wondering if anybody can help with the money side of things.  We are looking top purchase a property next friday (15th june) and havnt yet got a company to go to for the euro exchange guarantee.

Does anybody who has purchased in the last 5 years have anyone they can recommend to go to?

Everything else is in place so its just the Euro now..... dont want to lose to much on the exchange.

Thank you

Sallianne

Hi

I used Moneycorp and still use them. Fast and efficient IME.

They all do the same thing. Bottom line. On a house purchase it's all about the rates. 0.005 of a euro more between providers on a house purchase can be a chunk of cash. So  focus on the rate.

Hi, we just bought on Thursday and we used Currencies Direct, easy to use and a more competitive rate.

I started off using Currencies Direct but switched to TransferWise after reading about them on this forum. A much better rate and really easy to use once you are set up. I use them all the time now.

We are just going through the final stage of buying and we are using rational fx it great as you can ring and speak to the same person. The guy who we are using is called Joe Parker any problems we can just call him.
